Now with a cult following, we're back! Helsby RC would like to invite you all to join us again for this year’s Wobbler on 17 June 2026, 7pm start.
It is a mid week memorial race set up after the club lost one of it’s well loved members Robbie Webster. The race is over and around Frodsham hill. It’s all trails, but with the sort of ascent you’d normally find in a fell race. So if you’re curious about fell racing, love a challenge, or just need a bit of extra hill work then come along and give it a go!
This is an open race. The route is fully marked and marshalled and we have online entries for ease for everyone involved along with chip timing.
All local clubs and un-attached runners are invited to come and have a go. It’s only 8.4km (5.2 miles) yet it packs in 370m (1220ft) of ascent – it’ll leave you wobbling!
**We shall allow transfers up to Sunday 14th June, 23:59**
This event is licensed by the TRA and held under UK Athletics Rules. Minimum age is 17 years.
